Unlimited Car Wash Memberships: Are They Worth It?
Updated: Oct 8
An unlimited car wash membership only makes sense if you actually use it. At Auto Paradise, with locations in Kissimmee and Orlando, FL, the answer turns out to be simple arithmetic: every plan pays for itself on the second wash of the month.
The math on pay-per-wash vs. unlimited
Each unlimited plan is priced at roughly twice a single wash of the same tier. Wash once a month and you are better off paying per wash. Wash twice and you break even. Wash weekly, which is realistic in Central Florida between pollen, love bugs and afternoon storms, and the plan costs you about a quarter of what pay-per-wash would.
The break-even math, tier by tier
Tier | Single wash | Unlimited exterior | Break-even | Unlimited full service |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Basic | $10 | $15/mo | 2 washes | $35/mo |
Tiki | $15 | $25/mo | 2 washes | $45/mo |
Oasis | $20 | $35/mo | 2 washes | $55/mo |
Paradise | $25 | $45/mo | 2 washes | $65/mo |
What's included in an Unlimited Monthly plan
Exterior plans cover unlimited washes at your chosen tier. Full service plans add unlimited Express Interior service on top.
Every tier includes machine wash, soft cloth wash, wheel and tire cleaner, spot free rinse and hand dry.
Tiki and above add sealer wax, bug remover and tire shine.
Oasis and above add triple wax, rain repellent and an underbody wash.
Paradise adds ceramic extreme coating, graphene extreme gloss and extreme UV protectant.
Express Interior, on the full service plans, is interior vacuumed, windows and dash cleaned, and door jams wiped.
Free high-powered vacuums are included with every wash, on any plan.
All plans are valid at both the Kissimmee and Orlando locations.
Who benefits most
Commuters driving I-4 or the 417 daily, where bugs and road film build up within days.
Anyone parking outside, since Florida sun and afternoon storms undo a wash quickly.
Households with more than one driver using the same plan tier.
Drivers of dark or newer paint, where the Paradise tier's UV protectant earns its place.
